Vectilex Advocaten

The teams of Ive Van Giel and Valère Vereecke, highly experienced attorneys in real estate and construction law, join forces in the new law firm Vectilex. They form a lever ("vectis") to strengthen the plans and projects of their clients from A to Z in all sectors.

Ive Van Giel has been an attorney since 2004 and is an expert in public and administrative law in its broadest sense (particularly environmental law and public procurement), with a focus on real estate and infrastructure development, real estate transactions and litigation. He is also a certified urban mediator and cassation attorney in criminal law.

Valère Vereecke has been an attorney since 2005. He is an expert in construction law in the broadest sense (private construction law, public procurement, liability law, insurance law [BA, ABR, decennial], and litigation). Until recently, he was an assistant at the University of Leuven (ME STORME). Currently he is a research associate at the University of Leuven. Since 2013 he has been a curator.

Together with their teams, including attorneys André Caeymaex, Charlotte Persoons, Anne Van Vliet, Samuel Van Reeth and Houda Berrada, they assist numerous private and public parties with knowledge, experience, and passion.
